"Carpenter" - Day 23

Mark 6:3 Isn’t this the CARPENTER? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him. Jesus Christ was God incarnate, but he was also a man. He had parents and siblings. He walked on the earth with two feet, breathed, ate, and slept. And he was most likely trained as a carpenter under his earthly father Joseph. We will never be able to fathom the vast and omnipotent God, but we can grasp a carpenter. We can grasp Jesus. If you ever struggle talking to God, then try talking to Jesus. Jesus saw the world with two limited physical eyes just like us, and he was tempted in every way that we are. Let's be thankful that we can worship Jesus - a complex work of love as God in man, but also a sympathetic carpenter.
