"Servant" - Day 30 Philippians 2:5-8 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a SERVANT, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

Previously, we discussed Jesus as our Master, today we see him serving us. He is both a good master and a good servant. As a master, he never orders us around, but presents the most correct way of doing things and then always gives us a choice. As a servant, Jesus did everything for us. He took care of it all. He cleaned us, washed our souls pure so we could enter heaven. He paid the fee for our entry. He sent the Holy Spirit after he left this world so we would never be alone. Let's praise God and thank him for Jesus, who serves us though we don't deserve it.
