In Vain

You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David:

“‘Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? - Acts 4:25 (referring to Psalm 2:1)

As I just said before God will not be kept from reaching out to bring His children back home to their families. If you try to stand in His way, you will fail. If you try to stop the Holy Spirit, you are working in vain. And of course, the opposite is also true. If you have the Holy Spirit in your heart, then that means you are aligned with His ministry and mission. With your particular talents, God will use you to further His kingdom! If you have a passion or longing to serve, your Father will honor that! He will not turn you away at the door. The Holy Spirit will break down doors and chains for you, will demolish walls and strongholds, and maybe even crash through a glass ceiling or two. Your Creator created you for a purpose, so do not pull against Him in vain. Instead, wait patiently for Him (as He waits patiently for your full development in the ripeness of time), and then answer when He calls you! "Here am I Lord! Send me!"

Bonus verses!

"Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son." -Genesis 18:14

"When I select an appointed time, It is I who judge with equity." -Psalm 75:2

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" -Isaiah 6:8
